It's been 9 years now...

It all happened one day when it struck me that it has been nine years since I graduated from my beloved Saramen Chuuk Academy. So, I thought to myself, what should we do? Or, what are we going to do? So, I went to work and as I finished my daily responsibilities, I turned to my computer and started typing away my email to the few classmates that I had kept or acquired their email addresses. I figured, it has been a while since I emailed or got anything from any of them, so I took my chance and included every single one of them in my 'to' list. Of-course, right after I had hit the 'send' button, I already had returned emails from those that perhaps already changed their addresses or no longer check their emails?!

Anyways, being that I currently reside on the island of Oahu and quite a number of my old classmates, too, I asked that we hold a meeting. The first email originally asked to meet in September, but under some circumstances, the meeting was postponed.

Then, another email went out and this time I did not include everyone. I only asked 3 others to meet with me today @ 5pm to jump-start this wonderful idea of "doing" something to commemorate our 10th year anniversary as graduates of SCA. Well, despite the fact that I ran 1/2 an hour late to our meeting, my 3 wonderful classmates were enjoying themselves catching up with whatever over dinner :) ==> Thank you Darla, Gienah, and Otinia <==

Perhaps, it was unfair for the others that are also here on Oahu to be unaware of this meeting, but here is my reason. It's not that I didn't intend to include ALL of us (SCA 2000) here on Oahu, but the purpose of this meeting was to plan an agenda for our next meeting that will be held on November 6, 2009 at 6PM, which we are hoping that this time all the others will make time to sit with us over some munchies at the McDonald's on Nimitz Hwy.

I had shared an idea (just an idea) with the other girls tonight, but I won't share that here for now. I will share more as we finalize (hopefully by the next meeting) what we are really going to do!

What do you think we're going to do?! I'd like to hear your ideas :)
